The Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft is a spin-oriented offensive rubber that combines excellent grip with a softer, more forgiving feel. Based on the popular Rakza 7, the Soft version features an approximately 40° sponge, providing increased dwell time, easier spin generation, and improved control.

The high-grip topsheet contains a high percentage of natural rubber, allowing the ball to sink into the rubber and generate strong rotation on loops, serves, and opening attacks. The softer sponge makes it easier to lift backspin and produces a higher ball arc, giving players additional safety over the net during topspin rallies.

Compared with the standard Rakza 7, Rakza 7 Soft offers a softer touch and greater control, particularly on blocks, service returns, and controlled counter-attacks. It still provides enough elasticity and speed for modern offensive play while remaining comfortable and predictable.
